Curious About Manifesting Money in Business?

November 3rd, 2008

Are you one of the many people curious about the Law of Attraction, in particular how it is applied to business? I have read countless books on this subject, listened to audio programs and participated in tele-seminars. There are many Law of Attraction experts like Bob Proctor, David Neagle, Jack Canfield, Joe Vitale and Esther Hicks who have excellent programs and information, however, these experts aren’t readily available on a one-on-one basis or if they are, access to them will cost you thousands of dollars.

One expert in the Law of Manifesting Money and Dreams is Jane Ubell-Meyer, creator of Mastermind Activation®. Mastermind Activation® is a method that Jane developed to help women entrepreneurs apply the Law of Attraction to their business as well as their personal lives.

In May of 2008, Resource City Connections sponsored a class with Jane. This was the first time I had direct access to an expert who used the Law of Attraction on a daily basis so I was able to get questions answered, that pertained specifically to my own situation, on how to apply Jane’s techniques. This was an incredible experience and one that I would like to invite other women entrepreneurs to experience.

Jane is giving a preview call for her two-part, small group, tele-seminar The Law Of Manifesting Money And Dreams. The preview call takes place on Wednesday, November 19th at 7 pm, Central Standard Time, and is open to women entrepreneurs interested in the Law of Attraction and learning more about abundance. You can sign up for the preview call at www.resourcecityconnections.com/mm_preview.htm or if you’d like to sign up for the two part tele-seminar, please go to www.resourcecityconnections.com/masteringyourmind.htm.

I would encourage all spiritually minded professionals to attend the preview call on November 19, 2008, to learn more of Jane’s background and her results as a manifestor. If you choose to participate in the two-part tele-seminar, then come prepared with something you would like to manifest. Jane will work with you, in a small group setting of less than 10 people, to help you manifest money and dreams.

You’ve heard of “The Secret”? Now read “The Answer” by John Assaraf & Murray Smith…

October 14th, 2008

If you read “The Secret” or saw the video, you may have loved seeing “The Law of Attraction” really hit the mainstream.  I know I did.  And, while I loved the concepts behind it, I still wanted more and I feel like “The Answer” is that “more” I was seeking.

John Assarraf is the co-author of “The Answer” and is in “The Secret” video.  One thing that I loved about the book and the CD (I LOVED, LOVED the CD series!), was the ACTION we still need to take…

John is the person who found a photo of a home he loved, put it on his vision board, ended up packing his vision boards away, and a few years later, he and his young son were unpacking boxes and the VERY HOUSE he had put on his vision board was the house he was living in.  It changed John’s life.  He BELIEVED in visualization… for cars, watches, financial goals, but was blown away that he could literally manifest the home of his dreams.

The book is interactive and covers “The Law of Attraction” “The Law of Gestation” and the “Law of Action.”

I HIGHLY recommend checking it out!  www.readtheanswer.com  Let us know what YOU think of “The Answer!”

The Power of a Vision

September 16th, 2008

Do you know what what you want? Do you have clear goals for yourself and your business? Hopefully, the answer was yes. For us to really achieve what we want it’s important to be clear.

One of the things that can help is a vision board. You can create a vision board for anything - for your life, for your business, for a particular project. The purpose behind them is that, because the mind works in pictures, the more we can see what we’re working towards, the more it helps us attract it.

To create a vision board, simply take a piece of poster board and some magazines. Go through the magazines and cut out pictures and words/phrases that represent what you want. Let’s say you want to be a best-selling author. You could cut out pictures of books and replace the title and author name with the title of your book and your name. Look for somewhere where they publish the bestseller lists, cut them out - and you could white out the top name and put yours there. You could cut out pictures of authors doing book signings. You could cut out a picture of Oprah interviewing someone. You could cut out a picture of someone signing books, of someone on stage presenting. All of these things could represent what you want to achieve for your book.

Take all these pictures and paste them onto your poster board. Then you can even frame it and hang it up. Prefereably somewhere prominent where you will see it every day, like your office.

If you travel frequently, you could create a book with all of the pictures pasted in. Then you can take it with you and refer to it often.

Vision boards are very powerful tools. I like to create a new one at the beginning of each year. A mastermind group I used to be in used to do the same thing. Each year, in January, we would get together for an afternoon, set our goals for the year and create our vision boards. It’s a great project to do with friends or colleagues.

This is a great tool to help you accomplish your goals. Create one today!

What’s Your Life Purpose?

September 3rd, 2008

What is your life purpose? Why were you put here on Earth? What’s that you say? You’re unsure? You’ve lost your way? It’s easy enough to do. You’re life becomes packed with all the day-to-day tasks like taking out the garbage, cleaning the house, getting the car into the shop, making appointments to see the doctor or dentist, dropping the clothes off at the dry cleaners, not to mention just getting to work. What about the busyness of making money and putting in those 8-10 hour days? Who has time to think about one’s life purpose?

Yet, the successful people take the time to understand why they are here, what their life purpose is and then they enthusiastically and passionately pursue it.

How did you choose your profession? For many of us, the decision was made when we were in high school when we were 16, 17 or 18 years old. This was when someone, most likely our parents or career councilor, asked us what we were going to do after graduating high school. Not understanding the significance of the decision and relying on limited past experiences, slim skills, and undeveloped preferences, we unknowingly uttered something that we had an interest in at the time. That relatively innocuous decision would impact the rest of our lives in the classes that were taken in high school, whether we would go to college, the amount of money we would make, the people we would hang out with, the cars we would drive, the gifts we would give, how many vacations we would take a year, and the house we would live in.

Years later, stuck in dead end jobs and with unfulfilled desires, we wonder why there is no passion in our life. What is our purpose for being here on Earth?

There are several ways that you can use to identify your life’s purpose. The first method is to follow below the 4 step process.
Step 1. Write down 2-4 positive personal qualities that make you unique. Examples could be that you are spiritual, detail oriented, or an optimist.
Step 2. Think about those positive qualities and list 1-2 ways (as statements) on how you express them when you are interacting with people. For example, you could use the words “to help”, “to inspire”, “to create” or “to educate”.
Step 3. Picture your ideal world. Begin to write out a 1-3 sentence statement of how you feel and how others feel.
Step 4. Lastly, combine what you have in steps 1 – 3 into a single life purpose statement.

The second method is to tune into your inner self by journaling. Have your own question and answer session on paper. Begin by going back to your childhood. List 3-6 things you wanted to be when you grew up or list 2-5 things that you wanted to do or experience. What were you curious about? If you didn’t have to worry about money, would you still be interested in these things? Begin to bring back the passion by removing the layers of self doubt and compromise. As Robert Fritz, author of The Path of Least Resistance put it, “If you limit your choices only to what seems possible or reasonable, you disconnect yourself from what you truly want, and all this is left is a compromise.”

The last method is to get inspired by someone else. Dr. Randy Pausch, a college professor of computer science, gave a moving presentation about “Achieving Your Childhood Dreams” in The Last Lecture series of talks at Carnegie Mellon(Randy Pausch Last Lecture: Achieving Your Childhood Dreams). He talked about how he achieved his childhood dreams, how one could enable the dreams of others, and how you can achieve your own dreams or enable the dreams of others. When Dr. Pausch gave this speech, he was dying of pancreatic cancer. He died on July 25, 2008 a the age of 47. In his presentation, he passed along these words of advice, “It’s not about how to achieve your dreams, it’s about how you lead your life. If you lead your life the right way…the dreams will come to you.”

Are you willing to fulfill your life’s purpose and live the life you were meant to live?

The Beauty of being Naked

August 3rd, 2008

The beauty of being naked is not about being nude. The beauty of being naked is about shedding our facades, our internal walls, and our prejudices… all those little things we have fabricated to hide behind. The beauty of being naked is being vulnerable and yet, realizing how beautiful we are.

To get the most out of being in a Mastermind group one should approach participating as if they are naked. Understand that your fellow Mastermind group members are no more perfect or more imperfect than you. Approach each meeting by shedding self-limiters that hold back offering a solution or asking for help in finding a solution. Acknowledge a blemish when someone in the Mastermind group points out there is one in a spot that cannot be seen. Find a way to help a fellow Mastermind group member understand they have a blemish where they cannot see it while remembering the old adage, “People who live in glass house shouldn’t throw stones.”

Will Rogers once said, “Everyone is smart, just on different subjects.” Shedding self-limiting thoughts allows the beauty of being naked to shine. You will find yourself offering profound solutions from the subjects where you are smart.

Are You a Conscious Entrepreneur?

July 14th, 2008

The time has never been better for being a conscious entrepreneur. You may have noticed the consciousness movement having gone main stream if you heard of or participated in Oprah Winfrey and Eckhart Tolle’s 10-week book club discussing Tolle’s A New Earth Awakening to Your Life’s Purpose. Consciousness is becoming aware of your deeply held beliefs, which ultimately influence the actions you take and the life you live, and then making decisions based on this new awareness. Marc Allen, author of The Millionaire Course, put it more succinctly, “Once we become aware of the deep beliefs we have unconsciously accepted as being true, we can consciously change those beliefs that are preventing us from being successful and fulfilled in our lives.”

The conscious entrepreneur movement is not as main stream as the broader consciousness movement but it embraces the awareness of ones conscious beliefs and incorporates those beliefs into ones business. In general, if you conduct business in a way where you are fulfilled personally, financially and spiritually, then you are a conscious entrepreneur.

Specifically, if you want to know if you are a conscious entrepreneur, then ask yourself the following questions: Is the essence of who you are incorporated within your business? Are you able to embrace your business as a journey to use for your highest and best expression of yourself? Does your business give you joy, make you money, and allow you to give more of who you are to make a positive difference in the world?

There are various reasons why each of us started our own business. As a conscious entrepreneur, the personal fulfillment begins with being able to creatively express ourselves in our business, to be passionate about what we do for a living, and to integrate the essence of who we are in every aspect of our business. Many of us have been in jobs where we were expected to act a certain way or were in situations where our input or suggestions were not encouraged. This led to frustration and the devaluation of our very nature. As a conscious entrepreneur, we are able to fully express our personality, experiences, and knowledge within our business thereby leading to personal empowerment and satisfaction knowing that we are being true to our self. Passion, purpose and being able to wholly express yourself in your business is essential if you are to live as a conscious entrepreneur.

The second aspect around being a conscious entrepreneur is financial fulfillment or the ability to make money while doing what you love. You may have heard the saying; “Do what you love and the money will follow”. Being able to get paid for something you love doing doesn’t feel like work so why would anyone not want to be doing something you love to do for a living? The caveat is that doing what you love must make you money. As a conscious entrepreneur, you must make the decision to set up your business as a profitable entity rather than a hobby.

Spiritual fulfillment, the third component, is gained by really connecting with the soul of your business and being able to make a positive difference in the world via your business. Christen Kloser of www.LoveYourLife.com, says it beautifully: “Trust that your business is part of your divine plan and each and everything that happens in your business experience is happening for a reason for your highest and best good.”

Perhaps the time is right for you to begin the journey as a conscious entrepreneur. Here are the three keys to being a conscious entrepreneur and the questions that you can ask as you develop your business:

1. Personal fulfillment – Are you passionate about your business and love what you do? Does your business reflect who you are and allow you to creatively express yourself? Are you dedicated and committed to providing more of who you are in your business?

2. Financial fulfillment – Have you committed to setting up and having a profitable business?

3. Spiritual fulfillment - Are you able to connect with the soul of your business? Are you committed to making a positive difference in the world?

Answering these questions and molding all three components into your business will help you to being a conscious entrepreneur.

Are you manifesting what you REALLY want to show up in your life?

June 29th, 2008

Are you manifesting what you REALLY want to show up in your life?

If you are like me, the answer is both YES and NO!  Yes, I manifest daily, and I work on being in gratitude on the synchronicity in manifesting or, as I call it “God at work”.  But no, I am not always manifesting what I REALLY want, nor that I AM manifesting, because I am operating much of the time on what I call “warp” speed… doing, going, getting things done.  Not being.  Just doing.  And then, doing some more.

In May of this year, Resource City Connections had “Master Manifestor” Jane Ubell Meyer do a two part tele-workshop on manifesting.  It was a great success-the attendees have sent us their stories of manifesting CONSCIOUSLY and what fun it has been to read them!

This teleseminar helped me realize there has been at times a disconnect on my manifesting.  It was the piece that Jane calls “non negotiable” and Jane focused on that in her call.  It is so much easier to see you achieving and receiving “smaller” items, but the big ones we might not believe that we can have, that we deserve, (just fill in whatever gets in your way of manifesting), but, it literally can stop the energy flow.

Last week I had a huge “AHA!”moment.  One I felt was new to me.. that I too, am a Master Manifestor.  First off, I need to clarify.  We are ALL manifestors.  ALWAYS, all of us are manifesting, BUT, I would describe a “Master Manifestor” as creating by choice and desire what they REALLY want to manifest.

So, I realized that I am a Master Manifestor, however, my energy has been in great part, expended in to helping others manifest, which I love and I will continue to do, AND, I am ready to grow in to even bigger manifestations for myself.

Back in 2001 I read a book that I fell in love with, recommended to a ton of people, kept my copy, but, did not re-read until last week… You might want to get your pen out and write this book down… “Write it Down-Make it Happen” by Henrietta Anne Klauser.

There is much I love about the book, but one thing that just raises my receiving frequency are her stories that she has gathered of manifestation.  Wow.

BELIEVING we can create is something I totally do know, but, I also know my energy field can waver, wonder, and deny that it will happen.  Re-reading her book brought me in to the world I love of JOY.  JOY that our universe truly allows us to manifest.

In just the start of re-reading the book I immediately manifested accommodations for a trip that seemed slightly out of reach.  I have once again started recommending her book and was on the phone with a client while she literally went right to Amazon to place her order.  I am confident this book will help her on her journey.

So, want to increase your manifesting of what you REALLY want to show up in your life?  “There is a difference between wishing for a thing and being ready to receive it.” Said Napoleon Hill and he elaborated…

“No one is ready for a thing until he believes he can acquire it.  The state of mind must be belief, not mere hope or wish.”

So start to believe that what you want is truly “non-negotiable”  You already HAVE it… and join our club of Master Manifestors!

ACTION TIPS TO CONSIDER:

1.  Buy the book “Write it Down-Make it Happen” by Henriette Anne Klauser

2.  Sign up for the Resource City Connections newsletter to learn about future workshops on MasterMind Activation at www.ResourceCityConnections.com .

3.  Start your list or journal TODAY of what you REALLY want to show up in your life!

4.  Be ready to RECEIVE all that you desire!

Master YOUR Mind? Join us May 5th, 2008 (Monday nite!)

May 4th, 2008

Master your mind through “Master Mind Activation”…  Do you want to become a master at manifesting?  I know I do.  Then personally, I think we all need to know how to use “Master Mind Activation”.

The creator of a technique called “Master Mind Activation” is Jane Ubell Meyer.  Jane  is a “Master Manifestor”.  Why do I say that?  Because of her success in manifesting what she wants into her life…

How many of us have read the books, gone to the seminars, and certainly we learn some great information and tools, but… we STILL are not manifesting our dreams?

Were you excited when “The Secret” become part of main stream conversations?  I was and am, and, while I certainly understand the law of attraction, I want to REALLY GET IT.

“Master Mind Activation” is the KEY of opening the door of “how” to do it.  “Master Mind Activation” is a technique that is the result of Jane’s own personal experiences and those she has mentored through this process to unbelievable success.

Jane REALLY GETS IT!

For example, one of her dreams was to attend the Cannes festival… she has now attended eight times!

She had a picture of her “dream husband”, he is now in her life and her husband!

She wanted to produce films, she has!

She had her dream home pictured, she now lives there.

One of Jane’s latest dreams was to meet with Sir Richard Branson of Virgin Air, and, of course she has (see her website to see them pictured www.madisonandmulholland.com ).

If YOU want to learn the secret of “how” to manifest your dreams then join us on this 2 part call that starts on Monday May 5th and finishes on Wednesday May 7th.

“Master Mind Activation” for you is just a teleseminar away!

Finding Your “Perfect” Work

February 26th, 2008

I have several books by the “Self-Employment Experts” Paul & Sarah Edwards, and one of their books is “Finding Your Perfect Work.”  It has been a few years since I have picked it up, but I was struck by how many pages I had tagged with sticky notes (I must not have had the sticky flags that I love).

There are several worksheets to help you on your journey… like p.58 “All I want is…”; and on p. 63 “Personal Landmark Moments” from your past; and one of my favorites… on p. 65 “Signs of Magic” where they start the worksheet out with “Here’s How it Feels When Life is Working”.

The “Your Story” worksheet on p. 79 helps you layer the worksheets in to a sample life line… really interesting ways to uncover yours perfect work.

If you are trying to uncover the “you” behind your new business, or perhaps the business you are in the process of building, I think this book is worth the investment of time to review…

Here’s another section I enjoyed from p. 103:

What specific path are you wanting?

Harvest a gift you have? (follow your talent)

Pursue a passion?  (follow your heart)

Follow a mission? (follow your gut)

Capitalizing on assets? (follow your nature)

Then the authors spend a chapter on each of these.

I feel that for me, I need to revisit this book and redo the worksheets and check out the resources…

Check this book out and see if it can help you create YOUR perfect work!

Another MasterMind Benefit…

February 4th, 2008

I know that one benefit I see among MasterMind groups is that if you want to go for something, the group does expect you to take action.  And action-movement TOWARD your goals is needed to manifest what you want.  As human beings we might procrastinate, and we often do, but a MasterMind group will ask… “Where are you on this goal?”  “What have you done?”  They want your success, and are a bridge from here to there.

It is interesting that we cannot always see when we are not taking the steps.  We think we are. We are “getting ready, to get ready to get ready”.  Your Master Mind group will see that and ask for ACTION.

By the way, I have heard that Joe Vitale has a book out on Master Mind groups and, I need to take ACTION and buy his book!

“Meet and Grow Rich:  How to Easily Create and Operate Your Own “Mastermind” Group for Health, Wealth and More” by Joe Vitale
